Dear Valued Colleague,

Virtual Teams is a subject of increasing interest because their emergence has transformed the workplace. For the past decade my firm AIM Strategies® has researched the topic of virtual teams, and I have created and led workshops on this subject with various organizations, including Fortune 100 global firms. The practical ideas and conclusions from this work led to an invitation to submit a book proposal targeted to virtual team managers. I am excited that my proposal was enthusiastically accepted, because it summarizes over 20 years of work focused on human capital issues - cross cultural communications, building trust/accountability in a virtual environment and setting up teams to produce results.

To make this book most useful to its intended audience, I am looking for real stories about virtual teams, virtual team leaders and best practices, which means that I am interested in input from experienced folks like you. This brings me to the reason for this email – to ask if you would be willing to be interviewed. The interview will be completely confidential. All comments will remain anonymous, and the name of any organization or person you discuss will not be used. I am interested in your stories and the activities behind the virtual teams that you managed or joined.

If you have experience on a VT or know someone who does, I would greatly appreciate your participation, which would consist of a half hour telephone conversation with me at a date and time of your convenience.
